ddms has provided environmental data management, visualization and associated web-based project hosting and analysis services to the environmental remediation industry since 2006. We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully obtained SOC 2 Type II attestation. This is a significant milestone for ddms that underscores our commitment to ensuring the highest standards of security for data we manage for our valued clients. 

What is a SOC 2 Type II Attestation?

SOC 2 Type II is a widely recognized and rigorous framework developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) for managing and securing sensitive data. The Type II designation specifically verifies the effectiveness of our security controls over an extended period of time, demonstrating a robust and consistent commitment to data security. To obtain the attestation, ddms passed an audit performed by a third-party organization recognized by AICPA and based on the criteria described in the TSP 100, 2017 Trust Services Criteria for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.
