Dedicated Point of Contact
Each Project Portal project is assigned a dedicated ddms staff member to serve as that project’s Project Portal manager and point of contact. Their information is clearly posted on the Contact Management page and they may be contacted by any user of that project at any time to field any question.
Integrated Help System
Project Portal contains a fully integrated help system. The help system provides valuable “how-to” type instructional help to assist users in using and navigating the system. A link to “Help for this Page” is available on most every page of the system. When a user clicks on that link, they are presented with help that specifically pertains to the page they are on.
Interact Directly with the Development Team
If something in the system does not seem to be performing as expected or if the integrated help system has not answered a question adequately, users can submit a Support Request through the support page. Users are provided with a form through which to communicate directly to a Project Portal developer. The form also provides the opportunity to CC the Project Manager, themselves as well as the Project Portal Manager.
