Project Portal™
Environmental Database Module
The Project Portal Environmental Database Module allows users to access actual environmental data from the Project. This module operates off of a "GEMS v6" formatted database which resides behind the scenes on the server. The user is provided with a query interface which allows them to query out the data by Location, Parameter, Date, and Medium. Users can then view their query results in an online table. Users can then either graph, map (through the use of the Geographic Information Module) or export the data into Microsoft Excel®. Project Portal employs the use of a third party graphing utility (Dundas Charts®) to create high quality graphs on the web.

In addition to the basic query options listed above, users are also able to compare their query results against a remediation objective or State limit criteria, or further filter the data by lab qualifier or data type (i.e., trip blank, equipment blank, TIC, DUP etc). Users are also able to "drill down" into the physical characteristics of the sampling locations where they are able to access coordinates, sample location type, date installed and other descriptions.
New Version 1.1 Functionality Includes:
- New ability to drill down to sample location and well construction details, which includes a dynamic graph of sampling frequency over time
- Support for log scale and sliding X and Y axis scales in graphing package
- Improved validation update utility for filtering the environmental database to easily apply the results of data validation efforts to the master database
