Document Management Module
The Project Portal Document Management Module is a utility that allows users to upload, organize and distribute documents through an easy to use and intuitive user interface. A Project Portal Administrative User can create folders and a series of subfolders to which authorized users are able to post documents to so that others with appropriate permissions can view and download them.

The Document Management Module makes use of Project Portal's user privileges management functions to strictly apply permissions to both users and documents. In this way, Administrative Users are able to define which users are able to not only access but see which files.
Project Portal also has a similar but separate document management utility specifically designed for managing safety related information. Here, project managers are able to post safety statistics, manuals procedures and reports. This also provides users with a reliable place to find Site Health and Safety forms should an incident occur.
New Version 1.1 Functionality Includes:
- Upload, download and delete multiple documents at a time
- Improved ability to notify other Portal users by email of document postings and to set appropriate permissions
- Search within the contents of documents which contain text (e.g., pdf, doc and xls files)
